Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure professional to support the US BICES-X program. You will maintain global server availability, apply security STIGs, and manage accounts in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional team environment.

Responsibilities include mentoring junior staff, coordinating with end users, and implementing automation via PowerShell. The role may require after‑hours support and occasional travel to austere locations as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant IT infrastructure experience.
• Bachelor's Degree (may substitute additional years of experience).
• Must possess and maintain a TS/SCI Clearance.
• Experience with Windows infrastructure services (DHCP, DNS, authentication, Active Directory) and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain service availability for global servers in data centers and remote sites.
• Apply DISA STIG settings and patch OS/apps as required.
• Provision elevated and service accounts; create and maintain system documentation.
• Mentor team members; may perform supervisory duties.
• Interact with end users and evaluate vendor products.
• Develop policies and standards for complex builds; may automate tasks with PowerShell.
• Develop testing strategies and document results; stay current with technologies.
