Job summary

General Dynamics Electric Boat is seeking an Experienced Engineer in Groton, CT to contribute to SSBN weapon system engineering. The role involves developing test procedures, simulators, and environmental testing across the Weapons Simulation & Test team, with some remote work flexibility.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering, 5+ years of post-graduate experience, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's of Science degree in Engineering is required.
• 5+ years of post-graduate engineering experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop system and component level test procedures and scenarios that trace to system, hardware, and software requirements.
• Develop and execute test procedures/scenarios to verify system and component level requirements.
• Develop and maintain requirements for simulators.
• Develop software for custom simulators.
• Participate in environmental testing.
• Find and troubleshoot bugs in the system.
• Develop custom simulators modeling ship system behavior.
