The role emphasizes coordinating across disciplines to ensure technically sound, on-time, and cost-conscious solutions.

Candidates should have a Master’s degree (PhD preferred), extensive system engineering experience, and an active TS/SCI with CT poly.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering, physics, or computer science; PhD preferred.
• 20 years of technical leadership experience in scientific research and development.
• Extensive Systems Engineering experience.
• Active TS/SCI with CT poly.
• Thorough understanding of RF theory, electro-optics, and/or signal processing.
• Vendor/Customer relations and negotiation skills/experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses across concept to disposal for systems products.
• Translate requirements into total systems solutions respecting schedule and cost constraints.
• Conduct functional analysis, trade studies, and interface definitions.
• Apply advanced technical principles and contribute to new concepts.
• Provide innovative solutions to complex technical problems.
• Develop advanced ideas and guide them to final product.
• Serve as spokesperson on advanced projects and programs.
• Advise management and customers on technical research and applications.
• Contribute to technical proposals and act as SME during reviews.
