Job summary

SAIC seeks a Senior Systems Engineer in Dayton, OH or Boulder, CO to drive technical solutions for complex programs. You will lead requirements analysis, architecture design, integration, and testing while collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams on mission-critical systems for the U.S. Space Force OPIR ground segment interfaces.

Role emphasizes MBSE, system integration, and staff mentoring in a fast-paced, agile environment. Active Secret Clearance and DoD experience are required for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of systems engineering experience leading complex projects.
• Active Secret Clearance required.
• Experience with requirements analysis, system design, and integration.
• Agile development experience; DoD processes and classified systems familiarity.
• MBSE familiarity with Cameo or similar tools.
• Master’s degree or MBA with technical credentials is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead system requirements analysis, architecture design, integration and testing.
• Elicit and document operational concepts and stakeholder needs for MOSA architecture.
• Support SW teams in designing architectures that meet requirements.
• Coordinate with test teams for verification and validation.
• Document concepts, requirements, and architecture using MBSE tools.
• Mentor staff and drive process improvements within the SE team.
