Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to drive technical solutions for complex problems in advanced systems development. This role leads requirements analysis, architecture design, integration, and testing while collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams on mission-critical projects.

Location is Boulder, CO or Dayton, OH. The candidate will coordinate with program offices, end-users, and SW teams to deliver MOSA-based solutions, document concepts, and operate in an Agile environment with

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
5+ years of systems engineering experience leading complex projects.
Active Secret Clearance.
Experience in requirements analysis, system design, and integration.
Agile development experience and SE best practices.
Knowledge of DoD processes and standards, including classified systems.
Master’s degree or MBA with technical credentials.
10+ years of experience across space, C4ISR, or AI/ML integration.
Familiarity with MBSE tools like Cameo Systems Modeler.

Responsibilities

Elicit, detail, and document operational concepts and stakeholder needs for MOSA architecture hosting high-performance data processing applications.
Develop and analyze system requirements addressing stakeholder needs.
Support SW teams in designing architectures meeting requirements and customer concepts of operations.
Coordinate with integration, verification, and test teams for requirements verification and validation.
Document operational concepts, stakeholder needs, system requirements, and architecture using MBSE tools.
Mentor staff and drive process improvements within the systems engineering team.
