Job summary

SAIC is seeking an experienced senior systems engineer to provide ground system integration support for the Air Force Space and Missile Systems Center program. The role spans the full development lifecycle, from concepts to transition to operations, interfacing with contractors and advising Government on program activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's (STEM) degree with ≥5 years of related experience, or Master's with ≥3 years, or PhD/JD with ≥9 years.
• Experience in requirements definition and analysis, fielding and integration of ground system hardware, and space-to-ground system test.
• Ability to recommend decisions and lead program objectives; independent judgment in methods and evaluation

Responsibilities

• Provide ground system integration support across full development and operational lifecycle.
• Interface with development contractors and provide recommendations to Government for program activities.
• Support acquisition of Next Generation OPIR space vehicle/satellite/ground system and integration into Ground System
