Job summary

Quantum Sky is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support USSF’s SSC family of systems, focusing on space electronic warfare capabilities. The role entails SE for procurement, development, and sustainment within a fast-paced SSC/SZWC team, supporting SEWOL and RMT initiatives.

The candidate will work with government sponsors, industry partners, and multiple teams to define needs, test capabilities, and document requirements for future space EW missions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required with 15+ years of relevant work experience; Master’s degree with 7.5+ years or PhD with 3+ years accepted as substitution.
• Proficiency in requirements development, architectures, interfaces, systems integration, test and evaluation, verification and validation.
• Strong communications and coordination skills across multiple organizations to plan, execute, and post-process test activities and data.
• Experience in Space Electronic Warfare and/or Space Test and Training Range (STTR) is highly desirable; active clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Government sponsors to test capabilities on space EW architectures, operations and test infrastructure.
• Provide SE support on software development focused Integrated Program Teams.
• Use modeling and simulation tools for prototyping, testing, and design optimization.
• Assist in acquisition activities: SOW, objectives, RFPs, deliverables, and related meetings.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation to support fielding decisions.
