Job summary

Moog Inc. in Buffalo, NY is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to perform the conceptual design, analysis, development, and testing of complex space-grade systems used in NASA, military, and commercial programs.

You will define architectures, develop models and simulations, and lead requirements validation and verification across Moog's Space Sector. The role offers strong technical leadership, mentorship, and opportunities to impact mission-critical projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Aerospace, or Systems Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar systems or design engineering role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; experience with requirements management tools (DOORS).

Responsibilities

• Define systems architecture, interfaces, and requirements validation with internal teams.
• Create system models and simulations to support architectures with customers.
• Decompose requirements to components and lead verification activities.
• Lead design process and provide technical leadership within Moog's program scope.
• Develop test and analysis cases; maintain traceability to requirements.
• Mentor younger engineers as appropriate.
