Job summary
Vantor is seeking a Systems Engineer to partner with product management and engineering teams to translate business needs into detailed technical requirements and architectures. You will define and deliver software solutions, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability across multiple domains.
The role leads technical direction during solution definition and works to ensure complete requirements and well-documented designs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
- 5+ years in systems/solutions/software engineering or architecture.
- Experience leading requirements analysis and creating interface control docs, ConOps, and test plans.
- Experience translating business requirements into detailed technical requirements for Agile teams.
- Experience with software design and architecture documentation.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture, system integration, APIs, and modern dev practices.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, product management, and software teams to translate needs into technical requirements.
- Develop end-to-end software solution designs; document current-state and target-state architectures.
- Identify cross-team dependencies, risks, and architectural impacts across domains.
- Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards, security, scalability, and best practices.
