Bolt Graphics, Inc. in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a Systems Engineer/Systems Modelling Engineer to support executable models, simulations, and analytical workflows that inform system behavior of our SoC/IP.

This role is critical for risk reduction and requirement-definition in the project’s early phases. You will collaborate with product management, architecture, and SoC design teams to define ASIC system requirements, analyze micro-architecture trade-offs, and contribute to design documentation and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of Model-Based Systems Engineering experience.
• Experience converting document-based architectures to model-based ones.
• Strong knowledge of CPU/GPU microarchitecture, memory hierarchy, and SoC interconnects.
• Familiarity with MATLAB and Simulink for analysis and modeling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to explain architectural tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

• Understand and defineASIC system requirements from product specs and translate to block-level and circuit-level specs.
• Analyze NoC, caches, memory controllers, and coherency fabrics to optimize perf/power/area/fidelity.
• Collaborate with product management, architecture, and SoC design teams to influence product definition and roadmap.
• Support development of executable models, simulations, and analytical workflows informing system behavior.
• Contribute to design documentation and methodology improvements.
