Job summary

Nightwing is seeking a System Engineer SE to support mission-critical needs. The role involves acting as a scrum master in an agile lifecycle, contributing to System Engineering documentation, and managing system requirements across hardware, software, and facilities.

You will coordinate multi-discipline actions and participate in IPTs to design new capabilities. The position requires a bachelor’s degree, extensive SE experience, and active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance; U.S.

Qualifications

• Typically requires bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline and fourteen 14 years’ experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.
• Five 5 years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued TS/SCI with polygraph security clearance is required; U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development of system engineering documentation such as System Engineering Plans and Requirements Specifications.
• Serve as a scrum master in an agile environment following the software development lifecycle.
• Manage system requirements and allocations to hardware, software, facility and personnel components.
• Coordinate action items from CCB meetings, design reviews, and test reviews.
• Participate in an Integrated Product Team to design new capabilities based on development and operational needs.
