Job summary
Northrop Grumman's Eastern Region Systems Engineering team in Morrisville, NC is seeking a Systems Engineer (Level 2) or Principal Engineer (Level 3) to perform system planning, integration, verification and validation across domains. Onsite role with no remote option, requiring SCI clearance.
The candidate will translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications, conduct trade studies, and support lifecycle activities while collaborating with agile teams using
Qualifications
- Active SCI clearance at time of application.
- Bachelor's degree in STEM with 2 years of relevant experience; 0 years with a Master's degree.
- Experience with requirements development, decomposition, software verification, and generating system and segment-level test procedures.
- Experience working on Agile programs and methodology.
- Experience using Jira and Confluence.
- Experience with Cameo and DOORS.
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
Responsibilities
- Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analysis for total systems.
- Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
- Conduct functional timeline analyses, trade studies, and interface definition studies.
- Work with Agile teams; support lifecycle requirements and testing activities.
