Agility Robotics is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to drive system-level architecture and integration for our humanoid robot platform. You will own requirements, interfaces, and cross-functional integration while maintaining speed and pragmatism in a fast-paced startup environment.

The role demands hands-on contribution, systems thinking, and a focus on building real, scalable systems that perform in real-world environments. Hybrid work from the San Francisco Bay Area preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Systems Engineering experience in robotics or similar hardware/software domains.
• Proven track record leading system-level integration and architecture efforts.
• Experience in fast-paced environments requiring self-direction and action bias.
• Experience integrating new software capabilities into autonomous systems.

Responsibilities

• System Architecture & Integration: define and document architectures across mechanical, electrical, firmware, and software domains.
• Requirements Engineering: manage software subsystem requirements end-to-end with traceability.
• Compliance & Functional Safety: ensure designs meet standards and perform safety analyses.
• Interface Management: create and maintain ICDs and resolve integration issues early.
• Operational Excellence: analyze field data to improve reliability and maintainability.
• Technical Execution: participate in design reviews, risk assessment, and trade studies.
• Field-Focused Problem Solving: address deployment issues using system-level thinking.
