Job summary

RTX is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer – Responsible Systems Engineer for its Tucson, AZ team in the Effectors System Engineering Department. You will lead the update and maintenance of system and subsystem requirements, and ensure verification and qualification testing aligns with program needs.

You will collaborate with Systems and Hardware teams and the Chief Engineer, providing technical leadership and ensuring the program’s engineering tasks are executed to a high standard.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience.
• Active and transferable Top Secret security clearance required before start.

Responsibilities

• Lead effort to update and maintain system and subsystem level requirements specifications.
• SE technical lead for verification and validation activities.
• Collaborate with Systems and Hardware IPTLs and Chief Engineer on program tasks.
• Lead Systems Verification Reviews with key leadership and IPT staff.
• Mentor and onboard new team members with systems engineering skills.
