Job summary

RTX's Systems Engineering and Test Center in Tucson, AZ is hiring a Senior Systems Engineer – Responsible Systems Engineer to lead requirements maintenance and act as the systems technical lead across verification and qualification efforts.

You will collaborate with Systems and Hardware teams, engage Chief Engineer, and mentor new engineers while ensuring the program meets its technical objectives. Onsite role with Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's in STEM and 5+ years of relevant experience.
Active and transferable Top Secret clearance required before start date.
Experience with system software, firmware, hardware, requirements, integration or testing.
Advanced degree in Engineering / CS / Math / Physics preferred.
Experience with Agile methods and DoD projects is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead effort to update and maintain all system and subsystem level requirements specifications.
SE technical lead for verification and validation efforts, ensuring requirements are assessed during testing.
Collaborate with Systems and Hardware teams and Chief Engineer on program tasks.
Lead System Verification Reviews with leaders and IPTs.
Mentor new team members and apply core Systems Engineering skills.
