Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems in California seeks a systems engineer to create and refine processes for hardware and software programs at GD-OTS Healdsburg/Folsom, deriving and tracing system requirements, and coordinating design change impact assessments with internal and customer stakeholders.

You will lead risk management, reliability analyses, and trade studies, participate in milestone reviews, and support ongoing program activities.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and 5-7 years' experience
• Engineering degree required
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall systems infrastructure including engineering, implementation and integration, and technical services and support.
• Designs, implements, installs, maintains, and administers infrastructures including hardware, software, and various configurations.
• Monitors overall performance to identify potential issues and tune appropriately.
• Performs root cause analysis on failed components and implements corrective measures.
