Job summary

Auria Space is seeking a Senior System Engineer to support the R2C2 program. The role is mostly remote for the Albuquerque, NM area with up to two days on-site per week, enabling flexible collaboration with government SMEs and agile teams.

You will apply systems engineering expertise across architecture, development, and delivery, coordinating with Program Managers and ensuring critical milestones are met. A US Secret clearance is required, with a bachelor’s degree in engineering and 4–6 years

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of proven systems engineering experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline from an accredited university or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Daily interactions with government/government representative SMEs on system architecture, development, and status of Agile elements.
• Collaborate with Program Manager(s) to ensure sprints and deliveries align with Product Owner's expectations.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and communicate them appropriately.
• Attend daily stand-ups and planning meetings (virtually or on-site).
• Assist development and support teams with expertise as needed.
