Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field required.
  • 3+ years of experience with nuclear or strategic weapon systems, reentry, hypersonic, space systems, or similar.
  • Experience with hardware/software prototype development.
  • Experience in early concept development (design trades, requirements analysis, risk assessment).
  • Eligibility for Interim Secret/Top Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide systems engineering expertise and leadership for next-gen reentry and hypersonic systems and enabling technologies.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across organizations and sponsors to develop innovative solutions.
  • Prepare for and participate in major design and requirements reviews.
  • Engage in government working groups or IPTs to evaluate concepts and provide technical recommendations.
  • Communicate analysis results and proposals to leadership, sponsors, and partners.
  • Produce reports and presentations communicating results and recommendations.
