Job summary

Unlimited Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer III to support government and commercial security systems in the Northern Virginia area with frequent on-site duties. You will coordinate internal resources, design and implement security solutions, and travel as required.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineering and operations, with opportunities to work on cutting-edge technologies and premier clients. Travel is substantial, and a government clearance is desirable.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in access control, video surveillance and network design.
• Experience with healthcare, government, K-12 or enterprise environments.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent technical experience (4+ years).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate engineering and operations resources to complete projects.
• Communicate project status with Project Managers.
• Manage installation and service tickets.
• Support security system design, implementation, and commissioning.
• Travel up to 50% for local and occasional overnight assignments.
• Configure networks, VLANs, static routing, and firewall rules.
• Work with various security platforms and government-standard compliance.
