The role requires 5+ years in security design, hands-on network configuration (Cisco/HP, VLANs), and experience with PIV/CIV, FIPS 201-2, and government programs.

Though based primarily in the mid-Atlantic region, our team members dispatch to locations throughout the nation and occasionally overseas. UT is searching for a SYSTEMS ENGINEER III, located in Northern Virginia, though Remote may be acceptable based on skill sets and willingness to travel. This role would be responsible for mainly supporting customers in the Northern Virginia area, with frequent support requiring on-site work. This role will primarily support government customers, with commercial support also being required as needed.
Working in the Engineering department, the Senior Systems Engineer will interface with UT internal resources to support the essential job duties listed below. These duties will be fulfilled by interacting with the UT Business Development, Operations, and Engineering departments, as assigned, for security system design and implementation as well as various other support tasks. The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating internal resources to drive completion of projects. This position reports to the Systems Engineering Manager.
