Job summary

Unlimited Technology, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer III in Northern Virginia, with travel up to 50% to support government and commercial clients.

You will design, integrate, and service security systems such as access control and video surveillance, coordinating with engineering and operations to deliver projects on time. The role requires 5+ years in security design, hands-on network configuration (Cisco/HP, VLANs), and experience with PIV/CIV, FIPS 201-2, and government programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4+ years) with a technical focus.
• 5+ years in access control, video surveillance, and network design.
• Experience with Windows Server, VLANs, and Cisco/HP networking.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a government clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.
• Experience with government systems (PIV/CIV, FIPS 201-2).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources to drive project completion.
• Support government and commercial customers, with frequent on-site work in VA.
• Design, install, and service security systems for various sites.
• Configure networks and firewalls as required to support systems.
• Manage installation and service tickets and communicate progress.
• Travel locally up to 50% with some overnight stays.
