Job summary

ZelTech seeks a highly capable systems engineer to support government programs at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, Florida. The role emphasizes on-site system level development, prototype integration, and hardware/software co-design across multiple disciplines.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in multi-discipline systems engineering, COTS/GOTs integration, and experience supporting government R&D initiatives, with a current Secret clearance and US citizenship.

Qualifications

• US citizenship required.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• BA/BS in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site system level development and prototype integration support for government customer at CCSFS, FL.
• Coordinate hardware development, modification, and integration of vendor hardware to meet government needs.
• Prepare statements of work, cost estimates, presentations and technical reports to support design and prototyping.
• Lead multi-discipline systems engineering efforts including documentation, risk assessment, and mitigation planning.
