Job summary

Arete Associates is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design, build, and test electro-optical mechanical stabilized systems at the Healdsburg, CA office. You will lead requirements decomposition, performance analysis, and oversee software/hardware development and test activities to close system requirements.

This exempt, non-supervisory role collaborates with cross-functional teams and program leadership on technical risks and solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 9+ years experience with BS/BA; 7+ with MS/MA; 4+ with PhD.

Responsibilities

• Derive requirements, ensure requirements traceability, and oversee system integration and test.
• Develop detailed test plans and procedures and ensure equipment/resources are available.
• Document configurations, architectures, and troubleshooting procedures.
• Coordinate and conduct system performance modeling and integration testing.
