Job summary

Akima Infrastructure Services, AIS, seeks engineers to support DOE at Y-12 and Pantex. Qualifications

• Requires ABET accredited engineering degree with substantial professional experience (15+ years with BS; 12+ years with MS).
• Machining experience is required.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a DOE Q clearance is needed.

Responsibilities

• Support new machining center installations and existing production operations, including configuration management, paperwork, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Perform troubleshooting and system/equipment improvements in collaboration with related disciplines.
• Communicate effectively with clients, production, and support teams; maintain a production environment.
