Envisioneering, Inc. seeks a skilled Systems Engineer to support the Office of Naval Research in managing and executing advanced Science and Technology portfolios.

You will bridge engineering and program management, providing technical assistance and system integration to help program officers develop, manage, and transition naval S&T initiatives. The role emphasizes connection to commercial innovation ecosystems, SBIR/STTR, VC-backed startups, and IRAD alignment with Navy priorities, requiring

Qualifications

• Top Secret Clearance and eligibility for SCI or ability to obtain TOP SECRET Clearance
• Experience supporting Navy/Marine Corps S&T programs (SETA or programmatic)
• 5+ years of active SETA or DoD S&T program support
• Background in space systems, satellites, or space-based sensors
• Understanding of SDLC and military R&D environments

Responsibilities

• Assist ONR Program Officers in developing S&T strategies, roadmaps, KCOs, and SOWs
• Track milestone schedules and evaluate performer performance
• Support systems integration, evaluations, and system optimization
• Analyze system requirements and transition pathways for space-based tech
• Engage with SBIR/STTR, VC-backed startups, and IRAD portfolios
• Identify commercial dual-use tech to accelerate naval programs
• Coordinate with military R&D, industry, academia, and warfare centers
• Develop and deliver high-impact briefings and technical presentations
