Job summary

Ventus Executive Solutions in Washington, DC seeks a Mid/Senior Systems Engineer (Modeling & Simulation) to support an innovative program office responsible for integrating advanced weapons systems into Virginia-class submarines. You will provide engineering and technical support across development, requirements analysis, integration, testing, assessments, and risk management.

Clearance: Secret required, TS/SCI preferred.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
5+ to 10+ years systems engineering experience in defense or weapons systems.
Familiarity with TI-24 and/or submarine combat systems/design integration.
Understanding of submarine combat systems, architectures and integration of capabilities.
Experience applying technical analysis, modeling, simulation, software, or analytical tools to complex systems.
Strong systems-thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work with government, military, engineering, and technical teams.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering and technical support across system development and requirements analysis.
Support integration, testing, technical assessments, and risk management activities.
Collaborate with government, military, and engineering stakeholders to evaluate capabilities.
Apply modeling and simulation techniques to support integration of advanced capabilities.
