Job summary

Life Cycle Engineering is recruiting a Senior Systems Engineer to support the Littoral Combat Ship In-Service Modernization program. The role involves coordination for new system installations, modifications to HM&E systems, and ensuring NAVSEA/NSWCPD compliance.

The position requires 5–10 years of Navy program management or equivalent experience, with strong communication skills for SES/Flag-level interactions.

Qualifications

• BS degree in engineering, naval architecture, science or related discipline.
• 5–10 years Navy program management or DoD/government tech mgmt experience.
• Experience communicating with SES/Flag-level personnel is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering/technical support for preliminary design activities and in-service ship design.
• Coordinate Ship Change Documents (SCDs) for modifications aboard LCS-class ships.
• Perform risk analyses (RBD, safety, FMEA) and support regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with NAVSEA, NSWCPD and IPTs to deliver project documentation and decisions.
