Job summary

SAIC in North Charleston, SC seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to architect and develop resilient, distributed systems for Naval EW missions. You will design non-kinetic EW architectures and ensure cross-domain integration across platforms.

The role requires MBSE expertise, systems-of-systems experience, and active clearance capabilities; you'll collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams at a customer site in North Charleston.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 9 years of experience, or 13 years of work experience in lieu of a degree.
• Experience in systems of systems engineering, including architecture design for EW or related defense systems.
• Experience with electronic warfare domains including EA, EP, and ESM.
• Experience with Cross-Domain Solutions and Naval Communications and Network integration.
• Experience with MBSE tools and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable software and hardware architectures for non-kinetic EW systems of systems.
• Evaluate technologies to meet mission requirements while staying current with EW, cyber, and information operations.
• Ensure integration of non-kinetic capabilities with naval platforms, including Cross-Domain Solutions.
• Analyze high-level requirements to produce detailed technical specifications for software and hardware components.
• Develop MBSE and modeling/simulation environments to quantify system performance and support testing and validation.
