Job summary

AFORGE LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer III to serve as a senior technical contributor for NSWC Crane programs. You will lead complex modeling, requirements analysis, architecture, and verification activities to preserve traceability and configuration control across weapon-system acquisition programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 7+ years of professional systems engineering experience.
• Active U.S. Government Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, integration, maintenance, and technical review of system models and simulations.
• Guide requirements elicitation, decomposition, allocation, and traceability across stakeholders.
• Apply modeling standards to program baselines and architecture development.
• Develop and evaluate system architectures, interfaces, and verification strategies.
• Coordinate model and simulation integration with multiple offices and contractors.
• Provide technical support for system integration, test analysis, and evidence evaluation.
• Support documentation, baselines, and configuration management.
• Present analyses and recommendations for reviews and milestones.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers to ensure quality and timely delivery.
