Job summary

Amentum is hiring a Mid-Level MBSE Engineer to support NSWC Crane. The role involves applying SysML MBSE, developing models of complex architectures, and evaluating architecture options to support U.S. Government programs.

Qualifications include 6–10 years in Systems Engineering, 3–5 years with SysML in Cameo, and the ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. A ABET -listed degree or equivalent with MBSE experience is required.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years of Systems Engineering experience.
• 3–5 years creating SysML models, analyses, and simulation using Cameo Systems Modeler.
• Ability to generate CDRL documents from MBSE models (Requirements, Architecture, Interface Documents).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain TS/SCI clearance; interim Secret to start; US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Apply MBSE methodologies using SysML to capture and visualize complete system solutions within a unified digital model.
• Develop models of complex system architectures using SysML.
• Support architecture evaluations through qualitative and quantitative methods.
• Identify uncertainties within architectures and define risks and opportunities.
• Contribute to requirements management, interface management, and architecture change control processes.
• Convert analytical findings into actionable recommendations for U.S. Government stakeholders.
