Job summary
Nova Ltd. is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer to advance metrology solutions in semiconductor manufacturing. You will work with Design Engineers, Product Managers and Researchers to develop, integrate and characterize advanced metrology systems across product lines.
The role requires hands-on experimentation, design of high-vacuum equipment, and collaboration with a global team. Travel up to 30% and office-based work are expected.
Qualifications
- MS or PhD in Physics or a relevant engineering field; 5–10+ years in semiconductor or large capital equipment markets.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking; ability to model complex systems.
- Experience designing, building, and testing vacuum hardware and metrology equipment.
- Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Responsibilities
- Participate in product life cycle from ideation to field testing and release.
- Apply broad experience in applied high vacuum systems for electron beam and x-ray technologies.
- Design, build, and integrate vacuum systems with metrology hardware and advanced equipment.
- Propose, validate, and implement customer-focused solutions.
- Conduct error budgeting, modeling, and simulation for proposed architectures.
- Own design and integration of new components, and train teams on new subsystems.
