Job summary

KBR is seeking a highly accomplished Lead Systems Engineer to provide strategic technical leadership in support of the Fires Portfolio Acquisition Executive (PAE)-Fires mission. The Lead Systems Engineer will lead multidisciplinary teams responsible for integrating weapons, sensors, launchers, C2 systems, and networks into interoperable, joint- and coalition-ready capabilities.

Qualifications

Active TS/SCI security clearance with ability to obtain polygraph.
20+ years of technical experience in systems engineering or related fields.
Master’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or related STEM field.
Experience in US Army and/or joint air and missile defense RDT&E/ops.
Travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

Define and lead strategic engineering initiatives for advanced warfighter capabilities.
Serve as senior technical advisor to Government leadership on systems engineering and technology integration.
Develop long-range system integration strategies and roadmaps.
Oversee requirements, architecture evaluations, and performance assessments.
Lead MBSE implementation aligned with Government Reference Architectures.
Communicate findings and recommendations to senior decision-makers.
Provide lifecycle engineering leadership from requirements through fielding.
