Job summary

All Lines Technology is seeking an experienced Linux Systems Administrator to join the Global Information Services team in Pittsburgh, PA. The role focuses on deploying, administering, and supporting Linux-based infrastructure across enterprise datacenters and remote locations.

The ideal candidate will have strong Linux administration experience in large-scale environments, RHCSA/RHCT/RHCE certifications, and hands-on OpenShift, Oracle, and storage expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• RHCSA, RHCT or RHCE certification preferred.
• Strong experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and/or Oracle Open Enterprise Linux (OEL).
• Experience building and supporting Red Hat OpenShift environments.
• Experience with Linux troubleshooting, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
• Proficiency in Linux shell scripting.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and maintain Linux infrastructure components in physical and virtual environments.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve Linux server issues and critical alerts.
• Deploy and migrate enterprise applications and Oracle databases.
• Manage upgrades, patches, and security updates across Linux platforms.
• Write, maintain, and troubleshoot shell scripts for automation.
• Perform root cause analysis and performance reporting.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, and overall health.
• Support backup, storage, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams to ensure availability and compliance.
