Job summary

Columbia Technology Partners, Inc seeks an experienced System Engineer 4 to support mission-focused programs using systems engineering across the full lifecycle. The role blends engineering, project coordination, Agile support, documentation, and customer engagement with government stakeholders and leadership.

The ideal candidate will produce technical artifacts, lead teams, and ensure delivery of complex projects while maintaining high standards and secure operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, CS, IS, Math, Physics, or related field and 10+ years of systems engineering experience.
• Experience with ISO/IEC 15288 lifecycle processes.
• Ability to develop technical documentation and engineering artifacts for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong communication and collaboration with government customers and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Apply systems engineering principles across the full system lifecycle.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and diagrams.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and support project execution.
• Maintain documentation repositories and ensure accuracy.
• Support helpdesk functions and track issues.
• Coordinate releases, end-user testing, and status reporting.
• Analyze alternatives and provide engineering recommendations.
• Participate in risk management, configuration management, and ISO/IEC 15288 areas.
• Develop and deliver engineering work products with quality and integrity.
• Mentor and coordinate engineers and staff as required.
