Translate contract requirements into actionable system requirements and drive interface management across multidisciplinary teams. The role collaborates with ATS engineers, designers, and leadership to strengthen systems engineering rigor, improve processes, and ensure compliance through the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited institution.
• 8+ years of relevant engineering experience in systems engineering or product development.
• Experience developing, documenting, managing, and tracing system requirements.
• Experience with interface management and systems documentation.
• Secret DoD Clearance, or ability to obtain and maintain it.

Responsibilities

• Lead derivation, decomposition, documentation, and traceability of system requirements from SOWs and data.
• Coordinate with engineering leads to ensure designs meet contractual requirements and analyses.
• Serve as primary coordinator for system interfaces, including ICDs.
• Drive cross-functional communication to resolve interface issues and risks.
• Support reviews, milestone planning, and deliverable readiness activities.
• Track status of engineering and contract deliverables for on-time, compliant execution.
• Work with configuration management to maintain baselines and controlled documents.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Interface with customers and program leadership to communicate status and risks.
