Red Canyon Engineering & Software is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer IV to support the Low-Earth Orbit Ground Sustainment Services program. This role focuses on enhancing the JPSS Common Ground System crucial for NOAA's Earth observation efforts.

We're looking for candidates with 8-15+ years of experience in systems engineering, and who have a strong foundation in cloud solutions and software team leadership. This position is remote-friendly, contributing to our mission of making a significant space impact.

Qualifications

• 8‑15+ years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-information systems.
• Experience completing test verification and validation on delivered systems.

Skills

Engineering experience with large complex systems

Hands-on experience or team leadership in Software development

Built innovative microservices and Web Services

Utilized Cloud Foundry on Kubernetes

Lead verification testing of integrated systems

Coordination with Stakeholders/Product Managers

Experience with large scale test execution events

Familiarity with NASA/NOAA SE processes

Cross functional disciplines experience

Developing NOAA/NASA SE documentation
