Job summary

CEdge Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to provide leadership for the NEE Team on NGA-related initiatives. You will work under the Chief Architect and supervise system integration across major programs, ensuring requirements are traceable and solutions meet mission needs.

The role requires DoD/IC process expertise, strong communication skills, and experience with multi-contractor environments. Onsite work in Springfield/Chantilly, VA and St Louis, MO is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering required.
• Expert-level technical experience in DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES Process or large System of Systems.
• Experience in systems engineering, integration or development.
• Technical leadership on IC mission projects in multi-contractor/government environments.
• Experience evaluating and deploying new technologies into operations.
• Experience in GEOINT systems/services/products.
• Experience managing system interfaces and end-to-end integration.
• Strategic planning and technology insertion.
• Proven ability to work with senior government customers.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail oriented with good time management and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and guidance to the NEE Team under the Chief Architect.
• Lead multi-discipline requirements engineering and system integration activities.
• Advise government on proposed changes to solution designs.
• Translate mission needs into system requirements and solutions.
• Support analyses and allocation of requirements to architecture components.
• Lead AoA, CoA, and engineering assessments.
• Coordinate strategic technical planning with government and contractors.
• Communicate complex issues clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Build strong relationships with senior government personnel.
