Job summary

Assurit is seeking a Sr. Systems Engineer / Integrator to support one of our clients. This role requires coordinating the development of programs to increase information sharing and technical integration across organizations.

Candidates with a background in data science, cloud technologies (preferably AWS), big data (Hadoop and Spark), and system integration are highly sought after for this position.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Master’s degree and 10 years of relevant experience.
• Strong background in data science, systems engineering, or systems integration for complex programs.
• Proficient in AWS cloud environments and cloud-native architectures.
• One or more cloud certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, AWS Big Data-Specialty, CCSP, or CCP.
• Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Spark, and Apache Kafka.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical liaison activities to facilitate collaboration on IT initiatives.
• Oversee integration of technical systems, ensuring alignment with requirements including classified and unclassified data.
• Use analytics tools and AI technologies, with experience in large-scale IT systems.
• Design and manage architectures to meet mission-critical needs with cybersecurity.
• Provide expertise in AWS and cloud integration across systems.
• Lead initiatives using big data technologies to ensure scalability and security.
• Collaborate with teams to meet objectives and resolve challenges and produce technical reports.
