Job summary

ANSER is seeking a System Integration Engineer/Analyst to guide integration across hybrid and cloud environments, applying systems engineering and cybersecurity best practices. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable systems aligned with mission objectives in the federal domain.

Responsibilities include requirements analysis, architecture design, interface management, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; relevant experience may substitute.
• 3+ years of experience in system integration, systems engineering, or IT architecture, preferably with federal, defense, or intelligence missions.
• Hands-on with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud and integration methods in a government cloud environment.
• Knowledge of object-oriented design, modular architectures, and scalable system integration.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices, secure systems design, and frameworks like NIST, RMF, or FISMA.
• Experience with systems modeling and documentation tools (SysML, Cameo, Visio, Jira, Confluence).
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work with cross-functional teams; may require active security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert guidance on system integration approaches, interface management, and process improvements across hybrid and cloud environments.
• Apply systems engineering principles to support requirements analysis, solution architecture, integration strategy, validation, and testing.
• Design and integrate systems with solid object-oriented design and modular architecture.
• Collaborate with engineering, cybersecurity, and mission stakeholders to ensure secure, efficient system performance.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve integration issues across distributed environments.
• Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation including architecture diagrams, ICDs, and SOPs.
• Ensure designs incorporate cybersecurity best practices and comply with NIST/RMF/FISMA frameworks.
• Support CI, automation, and DevSecOps practices.
• Other duties related to system integration as required.
