RTX is seeking a talented Senior Systems Engineer to join the Systems Integration & Test Long Range Radars Department in Woburn, MA. You will support radar technology through data analysis and verification of software requirements, collaborating with cross-functional teams on system integration and testing.

The role requires a STEM degree with at least 5 years of related experience and familiarity with MATLAB, Python, Perl, C/C++, Linux/Unix.

Role Overview

Raytheon is seeking a talented and motivated Systems Engineer to join our team Systems Integration & Test Long Range Radars Department within the Systems Engineering & Test Capabilities Directorate is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer who will support Radar technology that includes performing radar data analysis and integrating new radar capabilities at our Woburn, MA location. Typical daily activities executed by the teams include scenario development, data analysis, verifying software requirements in support to software development and systems engineering teams.

Qualifications

Required

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience with MATLAB, Python, Perl, C/C++, Linux, Unix, and/or other programming.

Preferred

• Experience with radio frequency (RF), electronic hardware, integration, regression testing, or radar systems.
• Understanding using MATLAB, Linux Operating Systems (Linux Red Hat), Unix, and Shell scripting for performing integration, verification, test, and data analysis, integrating and configuring electronics, installing/debugging software.
• Knowledge with creating test procedures, test plans, and test scripts.
• Understanding of agile and DevSecOps processes.
• Knowledge of radar and signal processing concepts, modeling and determining radar performance, and team interaction skills.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this role is 95,500 USD - 181,700 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
