Job summary

Innovatus Technology Consulting is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support our enterprise infrastructure in a fully remote capacity. You will manage Red Hat and Windows servers, enforce security/compliance, and partner with Dev, Support, and DB teams to deliver reliable systems.

Active Secret or higher clearance is required; you will coordinate with cross-functional teams and external partners to implement patches, SCAP/STIG compliance, PKI management, and vulnerability remediation across

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance required (or higher).
• Hands-on Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration.
• Windows server experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with STIGs, SCAP, ACAS, and PKI certificate management.
• Experience monitoring performance and capacity in on-prem and AWS environments.
• Ability to collaborate with other teams and external partners.
• Experience with vulnerability management tools like ACAS, Track-It, and EWM/RTC.

Responsibilities

• Guide technical priorities and day-to-day work for the systems environment.
• Administer and maintain approximately 34 servers (mostly Red Hat Linux, some Windows).
• Support SCAP and STIG compliance activities quarterly and yearly.
• Track, renew, and install PKI certificates on web servers and Oracle apps.
• Run weekly ACAS vulnerability scans and follow up on findings.
• Monitor OS and mid-tier resources and plan expansions as needed.
• Apply OS security patches and upgrades as required.
• Monitor system performance in OS and AWS environments.
• Support auditing requests (planned and ad-hoc).
• Coordinate with the data center on SLDCADA-related network/security issues.
• Provide technical support to Dev, Customer Support, and Database teams.
• Support projects with partners like USAGM, NIS, and DISA.
• Assist in application vulnerability remediation and with tools like Control-M, Track-It, and EWM/RTC.

What You'll Do

• * Help guide technical priorities and day-to-day work for the systems environment.*

What We're Looking For

• * Active Secret clearance (or higher)

• * Experience monitoring performance and capacity in both on‑prem and AWS environments

This is a remote role focused on solid technical work with some coordination across teams.
