Job summary

Innovatus Technology Consulting is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to maintain enterprise infrastructure and support security/compliance initiatives. The role is fully remote and requires a Secret clearance, strong Linux skills, and familiarity with Windows environments.

You will administer ~34 servers (Red Hat Linux predominant), work on SCAP/STIG compliance, manage PKI certs, and perform vulnerability scans with ACAS. Collaboration with Dev, Support, and DB teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance (or higher) required.
• Hands-on Red Hat Enterprise Linux experience; Windows experience is a plus.
• Experience with STIGs, SCAP, ACAS, and PKI certificate management.
• Experience monitoring performance and capacity in on-prem and AWS.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and external partners.

Responsibilities

• Guide technical priorities for the systems environment.
• Administer and maintain about 34 servers (mostly RHEL, some Windows).
• Support SCAP and STIG compliance activities quarterly and yearly.
• Track, renew, and install PKI certificates on web servers and Oracle apps.
• Run weekly ACAS vulnerability scans and follow up on findings.
• Monitor OS and application performance; plan capacity expansions.
• Apply OS security patches and upgrades.
• Support auditing requests and coordinate with the data center on SLDCADA issues.
• Assist Dev, Customer Support, and Database teams as needed.
