Job summary

Wabtec Freight Services is seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to lead architecture, integration, validation, and productization of next‑generation robotics and automation solutions for rail yard operations. You will own system design, safety, cybersecurity, and lifecycle deployment from R&D to production, coordinating across hardware, software, and cloud components.

The role requires a strong engineering background and leadership in multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Systems/Electrical/Mechanical/Robotics or related field.
• 10+ years of experience delivering complex integrated technical systems.
• Experience as system engineer or technical lead across hardware/software.
• Experience migrating automation/robotics from development to production.
• Strong systems architecture, requirements, interfaces and validation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end system architecture and requirements across subsystems.
