Job summary
Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a seasoned IT professional to support and maintain our systems infrastructure, including hardware and software, across multiple platforms. The role focuses on monitoring performance, implementing upgrades, and collaborating with architects to design robust solutions.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, 5+ years of server tech experience, and strong communication skills.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience with server technologies
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain systems infrastructure including hardware and software
- Monitor systems performance and recommend changes and upgrades based on utilization
- Perform maintenance and upgrades to systems
- Collaborate with Technical Architects to assist with systems design
- Assist administrators in the implementation of systems infrastructure
- Provide support and assistance to OD users for systems needs
- Assist in supporting server hardware infrastructure and hardware and software solutions on multiple hardware platforms
- Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosis of enterprise systems issues
