Job summary

General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems (OTS) is seeking a Sr Systems Engineer to create and refine systems engineering processes for Healdsburg/Folsom programs, managing hardware and software requirements across lifecycles.

You will lead design reviews, coordinate change impacts, and support risk analyses and trade studies, with a 9/80 hybrid schedule and up to 25% travel. This role requires an engineering degree and 5–7 years of experience.

• Required education: Associate's Degree and 5–7 years of experience.
• Preferred education: Bachelor's Degree.

Responsibilities

• Create and refine systems engineering processes across programs for hardware and software.
• Derive, trace, and manage system requirements throughout program lifecycles.
• Coordinate design change impact assessments on products and subassemblies.
• Host meetings with internal and customer stakeholders to mature and manage requirements; lead milestone reviews.
• Lead and support ongoing program activities such as risk management, reliability analyses, and trade studies.
