Job summary

Boston Government Services, LLC. (BGS) seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to design and implement IT systems within a security-conscious government environment in Washington, D.C., with a hybrid work arrangement.

Requirements include a BA/BS with 10 years of systems engineering experience and an active security clearance; on-site work in the Washington, DC area 2–3 days per week, full-time. This position is contingent on contract award.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree with 10 years systems engineering experience.
• Active security clearance required.
• On-site work in Washington DC area 2-3 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Designs and implements IT systems to meet business needs.
• May develop code, test and implement computer programs and subsystems utilizing multiple programming languages.
• May lead subsystem design and participate in system design projects.
• May interface with customers to define system requirements and priorities. Analyzes, resolves or assists in resolving production problems.
• May lead or support business studies and feasibility studies.
