Job summary

Boston Government Services LLC (BGS) seeks a Senior Cyber Security Specialist to join our Washington, D.C. team. This Evergreen Talent Pool post supports ongoing recruitment for a contract-winning program.

The role requires active security clearance, on-site work in the Washington DC area, and strong expertise across information security disciplines. You will plan and lead high-impact security assignments and collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• B.A./B.S. degree and at least 5 years of IT security experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in one or more information, computer, or network security disciplines.
• Must have active security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provides experience in one or more information, computer, or network security disciplines (e.g., penetration testing, intrusion detection and audit analysis, PKI, cryptography, assessment and authorization, cloud security solutions, or risk assessment and mitigation).
• Plans and leads major technology assignments.
• Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.
• Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.
