Job summary

UP MANAGEMENT LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to design, implement, secure, and modernize its core systems infrastructure in a hybrid Microsoft environment. The role involves hands-on administration, mentoring engineers, and serving as a senior escalation resource.

You will develop automation with PowerShell, collaborate across Systems, Network, Endpoint, and Cloud teams, and contribute to documentation and operational standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience in enterprise IT systems while supporting a strong cybersecurity posture.
• Proven experience leading complex technical projects and developing strategies to identify and mitigate technology risks.
• Proficiency with cloud computing, networks, servers, security, and related infrastructure technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, secure, operate, and modernize core systems infrastructure.
• Mentor engineers and act as senior escalation resource.
• Develop PowerShell scripts and automation to improve efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
• Collaborate with Systems, Network, Endpoint, and Cloud Engineers on infrastructure projects.
• Maintain infrastructure diagrams and documentation.
