Job summary

TRA Medical Imaging, a physician-owned radiology practice, seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead design, support, and modernization of critical healthcare infrastructure across multi-site imaging networks.

You will manage enterprise servers, virtualization, storage, and networking, while driving disaster recovery, automation, and continuous improvement in a regulatory healthcare environment. Onsite in Downtown Tacoma with great benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience supporting complex enterprise infrastructure.
• Expertise in virtualization, storage, networking, and server administration.
• Experience with PACS/RIS or healthcare IT systems.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance.
• Proactive problem-solver capable of leading initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, manage, and support enterprise servers, virtualization platforms, storage, networking, and collaboration systems.
• Lead infrastructure resiliency, disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity initiatives.
• Support healthcare imaging technologies and integrations, including PACS, RIS, HL7, and radiology workflows.
• Manage VMware, Windows Server, Red Hat Linux, SAN/NAS storage, Active Directory, and Cisco collaboration technologies.
• Drive automation, modernization, and operational improvements across a highly available healthcare environment.
• Partner with radiologists, clinical staff, vendors, and IT teammates to deliver reliable technology solutions.
