Job summary

Valkyrie Enterprises Inc. seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead interoperability efforts for Guam in the MDA program office.

The role focuses on integrating missile defense elements with DoG objectives and providing senior-level systems engineering across multiple domains. The ideal candidate has extensive DoD systems engineering experience, a Secret clearance, and proven ability to coordinate with multiple agencies while delivering technical briefings and executive-level documents.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in STEM required with 12+ years of related professional experience.
• Strong understanding of MDA systems engineering processes and procedures.
• Experience with system architecture and system-level thinking.
• Familiarity with secure development practices, configuration management, and cybersecurity-informed engineering.
• Experience with MDA system elements (e.g., Patriot, THAAD, Aegis, C2BMC).
• Ability to operate independently and communicate effectively across diverse technical teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project).
• Skilled in developing and delivering technical briefings to senior decision-makers.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, and manage interoperability risks, issues, and observations.
• Coordinate with GDS JPO, services, and external developers for development, integration and test assets.
• Lead or support TIMs, action tracking, and meeting coordination across stakeholders.
• Develop executive-level briefings and technical papers for senior leaders.
• Support system security considerations and cybersecurity inputs in engineering processes.
• Represent the Government customer in IPTs, working groups, and forums.
